5 tips for perfect eyelash lamination
Doing lamination but not happy with the results?
Sharing my proven life hacks:
- Proper preparation is the key to everything. Quality lamination starts with thorough cleansing of the lashes. No makeup, cream, or sebum residue! If the lash surface is dirty, the solution won't penetrate deep into the structure, and the effect will be weak or short-lived. Don’t skip the cleansing step — it creates a “clean canvas” for a perfect result.
- Choosing the right rod. When selecting a rod, consider the length of lashes, growth direction, density, eye shape, and desired effect. There’s no “universal” size — a poorly chosen rod can ruin even a perfectly done placement.
- Technically correct placement is 50% of success. Start from the root area, gently lift the lashes onto the rod, and avoid air pockets. Make sure each lash fits tightly to the rod and follows its shape. Even one twisted or poorly glued lash can spoil the overall look. Don’t rush — speed comes with experience, but quality must be consistent from day one.
- Timing = precision. Follow the recommended processing time for each product according to the brand’s instructions. But don’t rely solely on the timer — check the lashes during the process, as each structure reacts differently to the formula.
- Don’t forget about nourishment. The final step is not just the end of the procedure, it’s an investment in the client’s result.
Use botox or fixing concentrate, which not only add shine but also enrich the lashes with beneficial ingredients: keratin, amino acids, oils. This helps restore hairs after chemical exposure and strengthens them from within.
Remember, quality lamination is not just about beauty, but also about caring for lash health. Follow every step and your result will always be WOW!
