1. Before starting the procedure, heat the wax to 38 degrees. Use a wax heater.
2. Before starting the waxing process, prepare the skin by applying a gel or lotion. After applying it, let the skin dry, then apply talcum powder.
3. Using a special spatula, take a small amount of wax and spread it evenly in a thin layer over the skin. Do not follow the direction of hair growth. Leave a small section of wax—known as a “petal”—so you can grip it later. Wait until the wax has set slightly.
4. When the wax has set enough, peel it off with a quick motion away from you. Make sure the motion follows the same direction in which the wax was applied.
5. Continue this procedure on other areas of the skin.
6. After finishing the hair removal, it is recommended to apply a soothing gel or lotion to the treated areas of skin. This will help reduce irritation and prevent inflammation.
