    La calidad es la clave

Low-quality pigments lead to numerous issues such as color changes, allergic reactions, and poor healing. Therefore, it is recommended to purchase professional pigments from European or American manufacturers. When buying pigments, be sure to check for certificates and color recommendations for specific skin types.

To start, you can buy 2-3 pigments of popular colors for each area (eyebrows, lips, eyelids). If you intend to perform tattooing only on one area, you can increase the number of pigments.

Interview with the Director of Perma Blend USA - Hanna Maria Rubino

    - What are the main color formulation ingredients that ensure color stability?

    - Quality of the pigment is the first and most important thing we could do when working on Perma Blend or World Famous. My brother Lou Rubino always wanted to use the best of the best.

Pigment density and lightfastness are two challenges we tried to overcome. These parameters needed to be balanced so that the shade would be preserved even as it faded. Yes, over time, it will vary slightly, but if a customer returns after 2-3 years and compares their color with the initial version, they will see that the pigment remains the same, just in a lighter shade.

    - I want to talk about safety. Can we be sure that clients won't have problems in the future? How do you test pigments?

    - One principle we adhere to is European quality standards. And we're above and beyond them.

If we find something potentially dangerous, we immediately remove it from production, like with Pigment Red 210. It's not a color that's currently banned, but there's already a lot of talk about it. So we decided to remove it from the color line immediately, rather than waiting for it to be banned.

Our colors are tested by a chemical laboratory in Germany. So every time a new color is created, we send it there.

Experts check the color for the presence of heavy metals and other foreign substances that shouldn't be there. If everything is fine, we use it; if not, we don't. We've seen many great shades that looked amazing, but we couldn't accept them because they were dangerous.

Perma Blend products are high-quality pigments specially designed for permanent makeup, trusted by professionals worldwide.
